Run by the publisher Sammakko, this Turku bookshop has been part of the city's street scene since 2001, and its current premises opened in spring 2020 in an Art Nouveau building. The shelves hold a large selection of the publisher's own titles, sample copies of books published in Finnish over the past couple of years by almost every publisher, and older quality books.
Alongside books, the shop sells cards, posters, LP records, calendars, notebooks and other paper goods, jigsaw puzzles, soft toys and children's items. Staff can order titles that are not in stock, and the shop is also a pickup point for online orders. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
