This Turku vintage shop opened in May 2008 and is run by Eija Mannila, a trained made-to-measure seamstress who has worn vintage since the late 1970s. It stocks clothing and accessories for women, men and children from the 1930s to the 1990s, plus home decor, fabrics and sewing patterns. Eija chooses the items herself, mostly from private sellers in Finland, and they are cleaned and, where possible, repaired.
The shop is in a basement and visits are by appointment, arranged by phone, text, WhatsApp or email; you enter through a courtyard with a coded gate. Online orders can be collected from the shop without postage.
