Founded in 1999, this non-profit foundation supports clinical medical research and other university-level health science research at the university hospital and in its catchment area. It awards research grants, travel grants and prizes to researchers.
Donations, celebration gifts and bequests support research into diagnostics, treatments and medicines. Website information is available in Finnish, Swedish and English. The parking area is wheelchair accessible.
