The family bakery makes additive-free wholegrain rye bread with a sourdough starter from Pöytyä that is over a century old. It also bakes kakko, a traditional yeasted wheat bread. Grain is grown in the Loimaa region, milled weekly and baked in a traditional brick oven in Alastaro.
The business was founded in 1990. A third-generation baker took over in 2005, when a new bakery building was completed. Bread is sold at this market hall shop as well as at markets and other shops.
