This Turku day care centre is one of six run by an independent, Finnish-owned private early childhood education provider that has operated in the Turku area since 1971. Its approach combines whole-day pedagogy, positive pedagogy and small-group work, with an emphasis on physical activity, nature and involving children and families.
Besides early childhood education it offers early special-needs education, and meals are supplied by Mehiläinen. Families in Turku and Raisio can use a service voucher, applied for on the city websites, and children from other municipalities are also accepted. Ask the director about available places.
