This self-service laundry is in the basement car park of the Skanssi shopping centre in Turku, near the west-end entrance. It has a 9 kg and a 20 kg washing machine and a 20 kg dryer, and the larger washer takes bulky items such as duvets, blankets and pillows. The machines show the programme and drying time for each type of laundry.
Detergent is included, and you get a text message when your laundry is done. Extras include a pre-wash, fabric softener and a disinfecting rinse, and drying runs last 20, 40, 60 or 80 minutes. The machines can be used whenever the centre is open. The heated car park has about 1,000 spaces and EV chargers, and Föli buses 4 and 10 serve the centre.
