This exhibition space in Turku's Taidehalli art hall is run by the Turku Artists' Association, founded in 1924. It shows changing exhibitions of contemporary art, chosen through open calls from proposals by artists and art students in Southwest Finland. The association's annual exhibition, a tradition of more than a hundred years, is also held here.
Admission is free. The step-free entrance is in the courtyard, where you ring the doorbell to get in. A lift goes up to the second floor, and there is an accessible toilet in the lobby. One of the gallery doors is usually kept closed, but staff will open it on request.
