Founded in 1999, this Turku winter swimming club runs a sauna and swimming beach on Ruissalo island. There are two wood-heated saunas: the larger one has a big wood-burning stove, while the smaller one has an open floor that lets in fresh air. There is a pier, and the club also rents out a villa and a grill shelter.
The saunas are open to all winter swimmers, with single visits or a ten-visit card. Women and men have separate changing rooms, but there are no showers. The shore is private and reserved for members in summer. Groups should give advance notice so the second sauna can be heated, and the premises can be rented on Mondays and Wednesdays via the booking calendar.
