This small Japan-focused shop and cultural centre is on the ground floor of an Art Nouveau building in Turku. The first cultural trip to Japan was made as a trial in 2015, and today it organises small-group tours with planning, bookings, guiding and interpreting included. It also hosts talks and films on Japanese culture, both in person and online.
The shop sells vintage kimono and haori jackets, tea, books, kitchenware, furoshiki wrapping cloths, origami supplies, kintsugi repair kits and Moku towels made in Imabari. Items can also be ordered online and collected in store, and cards and mobile payments are accepted.
