The local association belongs to a national organisation for children and younger teenagers that has operated since 1972. Its main activities are clubs and camps, alongside leisure activities for children, young people and families.
Local associations organise activities in their own areas. The national organisation also runs family events and statutory before- and after-school activities in six municipalities. It receives support from the Ministry of Education and Culture.
