Serving Southwest Finland and Satakunta, the regional dance centre develops the dance sector, supports artists' employment and broadens access to dance. It organises performances and projects, including the Äkkilähtö residency at Kulttuuritehdas Manilla.
Its approximately 80 m² rehearsal studio has a sprung floor, mirrors, changing room and shower. Members and working groups with at least one member can apply for rehearsal space support for independent work or projects in preparation. Applications cover up to 40 hours and take 1–4 weeks to process; the support cannot be used for teaching or courses.
