This Turku association supports children and young people in an active, sustainable lifestyle and builds skills for working life and entrepreneurship. It runs crafts, media, cooking, art and pet clubs, plus a Friday after-school club for younger pupils. There are also business and dog-care courses, workshops on marketing and websites, and day camps, for example in the autumn break and at Christmas.
Young people can find summer jobs through the association, join the Ysit töihin work programme or take on pet-sitting, and pet care can also be ordered as a service. Garden plots are available at several sites in Turku, with plot information also in English, Swedish and Russian.
