Founded in 1970, the ice hockey referees' and officials' association continues an informal club dating from 1950. It belongs to the Finnish Ice Hockey Referees Association and provides training for referees and game officials.
The basic officials course is held through Teams. Referee assignments are ordered in the Taso system, while tournaments and friendly games are arranged by email. New members are welcome, including referees moving from elsewhere.
