This is the Turku municipal organisation of the Social Democratic Party of Finland (SDP), bringing together the party's local sections within the Varsinais-Suomi district. The youth, women's and student groups Demarinuoret, Demarinaiset and Demariopiskelijat are also linked to it. Its website presents the municipal election programme and elected officials, along with news, opinion pieces and events.
The organisation invites people to join and help build a fairer society. It is also active on Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok, and the website carries a digital replica edition of a magazine.
