Founded in 1894, the Industrial Union branch advises on collective agreements, employment law, unemployment and social security. It has around 5,400 members and works with workplace union branches and chief shop stewards.
Members can join training and leisure activities, including at the Kirjala recreation area. Membership includes Turva insurance, and the branch publishes NELJÄYSILÄINEN magazine. The office entrance is locked, so visitors ring the buzzer. Telephone enquiries are handled during member service hours.
