Founded in 1978, this diving club has over 200 members, more than half of them juniors and young people. Members come mainly from Järvenpää, Kerava and the surrounding area, as well as the Helsinki region and further afield. The club owns a boat based at Karhusaari in Helsinki and dives in the Sipoo, Porvoo and Helsinki archipelagos, with trips along the coast and in inland waters too.
It runs junior activities and baby swimming sessions in its home municipality and can arrange diving courses, on its own or with neighbouring clubs. Member benefits include dive trips, free tank refills, low-cost equipment rental and member magazines. The club belongs to the Finnish Diving Federation and has received awards including Sukeltajaliitto Club of the Year in 2008.
