Founded in 1983, the fish processing and freezing business specialises in Baltic herring. MSC-certified fish is caught, processed and frozen, with the subsidiary's Westfjord trawler supplying raw material. The catch is chilled at sea in refrigerated seawater tanks.
This facility's vacuum gutting line was completed in spring 2022. Another processing and freezing plant operates in Reposaari. Customers include domestic and overseas filleting plants, fish canneries and the fish feed industry.
