This modern Nordic restaurant serves home-cooked food in a relaxed setting. The menu builds on local Ostrobothnian ingredients, including fish, meat and plenty of vegetables. The drinks list is broad, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, including house-made non-alcoholic drinks. Head chef Mattias won Finland's Chef of the Year title in 2017.
Beside the restaurant is a glazed event space, HEJM Taket, with sea-facing sliding doors and a glass roof. It is open from April to October and suits private gatherings, summer parties, weddings and company events. The restaurant is in the Kalastuksen talo building. Gift cards are sold for HEJM, EIJN and FRÖJ. The website is in Swedish, and the seating, car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
