Founded in 1995, Multitronic runs an online store, launched in 1999, with over 100,000 products: IT and home electronics, household appliances, and home and garden goods. The headquarters is in this city and the company has over 35 employees. Besides this one, there are stores in Pietarsaari, Jyväskylä, Lappeenranta and Maarianhamina. This store sells the full warehouse stock directly, as the central warehouse is in the same premises.
The other stores sell a selection of the online range, and online orders can be collected in store at no extra cost. A repair service handles PCs, Macs and Apple phones, and the company is an official Apple service partner. It also offers spare parts for IT devices, a configurator for building a custom PC, refurbished laptops, tablets and smartwatches, and an outlet section for discontinued products. Customer service is available by phone, e-mail and social media in Finnish, Swedish and English. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
