This university of applied sciences offers bachelor's (AMK) and master's (YAMK) degrees. Its focus areas include comprehensive security, social and health care development, and sustainable business and service design. The campus is part of the European PIONEER university alliance, which concentrates on sustainable and smart cities. Companies and organisations can use its continuing education and staff competence development services.
Students can study on campus or online with flexible options. Before applying, you can try an open AMK study path or short taster courses, and study vouchers are available for applicants without a study place. Upper secondary students can request visits from student ambassadors, in person or remotely, and the school takes part in the Studia fairs and hosts an AMK campus day for upper secondary students in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The campus is in the Dixi shopping centre, opposite the Tikkurila transport hub and close to the rail link to the airport. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
