This Martinlaakso art trail focuses on street art, with works in tunnels, at Martinlaakso railway station and in a parking hall gallery. The trail starts at Martinlaakso station, about 20 minutes from central Helsinki or Tikkurila. The website's map marks a suggested walking route, with detailed descriptions and images of each work.
Highlights include the 2017 Urbaani sinfonia station series and the Martinus parking hall street art gallery, which gathers work from nearly 30 artists. The gallery is reached by a ramp or stairs next to the main doors of Martinus during the parking hall's opening hours. The tunnel works date from 2014, were repainted in 2022 and include tags built into the artwork. The works were curated by the SAV art collective, which began in Martinlaakso in summer 2013 with a tunnel workshop with local upper secondary school students.
