Established in 2020, the independent central agency serves Finland's court system within the Ministry of Justice's administrative branch. It supports courts' operating conditions and administration. Around 60 staff work in finance, development and administration departments.

Content is available in Finnish, Swedish, English and Sámi languages. The agency's entrance and parking facilities accommodate wheelchair users.
