Operating since 1951, the volunteer fire brigade is on alert around the clock every day of the year. It has an alarm unit, women's section, youth section and organisation section. Young members learn responsible and independent working.
The fire station's function hall can be hired for private celebrations and events. Members work voluntarily and are covered by group accident insurance. Accessible seating is available, but the entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
