Founded in 1974, the ice hockey club focuses on children and young people while offering hockey for beginners and veteran players alike. Youth activities follow Young Finland principles. Players who began their careers here include Teuvo Teräväinen, Esa Tikkanen and Ari Sulander.
Activities rely on volunteers, with parents often coaching younger children's groups. Coaches and instructors receive annual training through Finnish Ice Hockey Association courses.
