This local heritage society arranges guided history walks, cultural excursions and lectures. Walks of about an hour explore manor grounds, suburbs and natural sites, including Backas, Katrineberg and Håkansböle manors. The society operates at Övre Nybacka.
Private groups can book guided walks. It also publishes a yearbook, local heritage products, knitting patterns and mobile museum guides. An ancient park day is held with a partner at the Jokiniemi Stone Age settlement. Membership and volunteering opportunities are available.
