Founded in 1994, the professional visual artists' association promotes visual art and artists' professional interests. It runs an art lending service and produces part of Galleria K's exhibition programme alongside the art museum. Gjutars Artists' House hosts exhibitions, workshops and residencies.
Members' artworks can be borrowed for display through the lending service. Galleria K occupies the former main library building beside city hall. Membership is for professional artists. The entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible.
