Built in 1916 as a workers' house, the building is an artists' house, residency and year-round accommodation near Lake Saimaa. It forms part of a European Heritage Label industrial heritage site. Exhibitions, concerts and other performing arts take place in the house and garden, with a waffle café in summer.
Accommodation includes access to a sauna and a kitchen in every room. Residency and course activities run in autumn and winter. Pets and families are welcome, and the building is non-smoking. Parking and Wi-Fi are available. Breakfast, a pool and a gym are not provided.
