The museum covers the history of mechanical music from the 1850s to the present day. Seven halls display over 400 instruments: music boxes, automatic pianos and orchestrions, from pocket-sized pieces to an orchestrion weighing 5,000 kg. Highlights include a dance orchestrion, a 1940s Wurlitzer jukebox and a street posetiivi, a barrel organ.
Guided tours are presented as interactive, show-style experiences rather than traditional static museum viewing. Tours can be booked for groups. The car park and toilet are wheelchair accessible, but the entrance is not.
