Founded in 1992, the non-profit association supports relatives of people with mental health difficulties in Savo. It offers peer support, conversations with staff, recreation, training, information and advocacy. No diagnosis is needed to seek support.
Peer groups meet locally, by phone and online. The website has a chat staffed by employees and volunteers, while the Mahdollisuuksia online service provides guides and peer experiences. Members receive a newsletter three to five times a year and can join recreational activities.
Received support as a relative? You can share your experience of the service in the comments for other families.
