The summer church on Lake Keitele was assembled in 1962 from the logs of an old grain storehouse, to a design by engineer Lasse Heikkilä. Its vestry holds a storehouse work table dated 1759, and the bell is a historic meal bell from Suojoki farm. A window behind the altar looks out onto nature.
The building seats around 70 to 80 people. Use is arranged through the parish office, with practical matters handled by the caretaker. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible, and a toilet is available.
