Founded in 1946, the club carries out hunting and game management across about 7,400 hectares around the town centre. It has about 215 members and manages roe deer quotas and forest grouse hunting seasons.
Activities include shooting competitions, such as club championships in moose and bird target shooting. Meetings are held at the hunting lodge. Board members and deputies are listed on the website.
