Operating since 1990, the craft centre runs courses, workshops and weaving activities for beginners and experienced makers. It is run by the Taito Etelä-Pohjanmaa association. Näppi craft and design school provides basic arts education for children, young people and adults.
A small shop sells kits and materials for knitting, weaving and felting. Summer craft camps are arranged for schoolchildren, with workshops for companies and community groups. The car park is wheelchair accessible.
