Home-based family daycare has groups of up to four children per childminder. Children are cared for by one familiar adult, with home-cooked meals and daily outdoor activity in nature. Childminders are trained and the service is subject to municipal supervision.
Applications are submitted through an online form. Families can visit the childminder's home before choosing a place, and a gradual start allows a parent to stay during the first days.
