This day-care centre belongs to Pilke päiväkodit Oy, which runs about 210 day-care centres, preschools and after-school clubs with over 12,000 children. Early childhood education builds on learning through everyday life and play, and centres can have specialised emphases such as languages, nature, sports, music or arts. The chain also includes nature day-care centres.
Places are applied for online, and an introductory visit with the child can be arranged. Meals are provided, with a published menu. Local centres run free family cafés for families with children.
