The restaurant is in the Sello shopping centre in Leppävaara, with a wine-cellar style interior. The same family has run it since 2005, and its parent company, Ravintola Alberga Oy, traces its roots to a Helsinki lunch restaurant founded in 1982. By day it serves a home-style lunch, a buffet and quick lunch, and an à la carte lunch menu. Evenings and weekends bring an à la carte menu of international dishes, with local and organic products emphasised, and food is prepared by hand from scratch using domestic ingredients.
ViiniBase is the wine restaurant section, where a sommelier advises on choices. The bar hosts live music, a pub quiz on Wednesdays and music bingo on Fridays, and Kantis loyalty card customers receive a bonus on purchases. Tables can be reserved on the website, and guests include office lunch groups, shoppers and pensioners. The seating, car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
