Founded in 1982, the mixed scout troop has about 290 members from preschool family scouting to adults. A specialist group welcomes autistic young people and young adults. The troop respects members' worldviews under the scouting principle of positive religious freedom.
Weekly 90-minute meetings teach practical skills and teamwork, complemented by competitions, hikes, camps and a whole-troop Christmas hike. A local Lutheran parish supports the troop. Groups meet at the den and in school, youth centre and chapel premises.
