The university initiative promotes the global societal impact of research and education. East African partnerships develop multidisciplinary problem-based courses, curricula and learning networks with the universities of Nairobi, Makerere and Dar es Salaam.
Collaboration links areas such as design business management and sustainability to challenges selected by partner universities. Problem-based learning projects also involve South Asian partners, including the Royal University of Bhutan. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
