Founded in 1994, this new-media teaching and research unit is part of Aalto University's Department of Art and Media. It explores digital technology's impact on society and its possibilities for communication, interaction and expression. Interdisciplinary studies cover the design and production of new media, games and sound.
Theses can be viewed in the university library, with some available online. Demo Day presentations take place twice a year. The unit is on the first floor of the Väre building, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking.
