Founded in 1997, the non-profit association promotes participation, civic activity and opportunities to influence society in Kanta-Häme. It is politically and religiously non-aligned and uses a multicultural approach. Its audiences include families, unemployed people, young people, immigrants, seniors, students and associations.
People can also participate as volunteers. OLKA support activities have expanded to this town. The association's wider services include a youth workshop, a men's space and community and multicultural meeting places.
