Founded in 1999, the rural development association encourages residents to develop their area and create jobs and businesses. Its work covers five municipalities.
The association advises on and promotes rural business and project grants and farm investment and start-up support through Hyrrä. It runs development projects and publishes regional news. The website also lists local celebration venues for gatherings of different sizes.
