This buffet restaurant serves home-style Finnish cooking as a weekday lunch buffet, with a soup option on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Weekly menus rotate, and the last day of a week may bring a themed buffet, such as Halloween. Customers can suggest dishes by writing in a feedback book.
Food can be taken away, either assembled by the customer or ordered by phone and pre-packed. It is run by two owners, Maarit and Niina. The Oiva food safety inspection report is displayed, and the website links to inspection results. The restaurant sponsors the HPK ice hockey club's Gold Club membership. It is in the LasiKulma building, and the seating, car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
