Founded in 1997, the non-profit child welfare organisation supports children, young people and families and works against domestic violence. It belongs to the Federation of Mother and Child Homes and Shelters. Professional services are combined with volunteering and peer support.
The association runs a round-the-clock shelter and outpatient violence services, including the Aggredi programme. Family services include the Poukama meeting place, doula activities, family work and support during separation. Membership and volunteering are also possible.
If you have used the family or support services, share your experience on Suomi Guide to help others seeking support.
