Founded in 1993, the Finnish Memory Association member organisation supports people with memory disorders, their relatives and those interested in memory health. Activities include peer support, lectures, training, courses, groups and memory cafés. It runs a Muistiluotsi expert and support centre.
Membership is not required to take part. Guidance covers memory-related matters, advance directives and continuing powers of attorney. Other activities include music sessions, bookable lectures, park coffee gatherings for seniors, health kiosks and a brain health project.
