Founded in 1940, this trade union local brings together workers in Industrial Union sectors. It monitors compliance with collective agreements, laws and regulations and supports members with workplace problems.
Members are offered training, events and other services. The local promotes shop steward and occupational safety representation at workplaces. Its summer retreat on Lake Imjärvi has a cottage, two lakeside saunas and overnight accommodation.
