This traditional Helsinki fish shop in the Old Market Hall has been trading for 140 years. The range covers cured and smoked fish, salmon, herring, oysters, terrines, fresh fish and crayfish, and specialities include a traditional salmon pie and herring in browned butter. A bistro with its own menu is attached.
Gravlax is sliced by hand in portions from 250 g to 1 kg, and a whole fresh lobster (about 500 g) can be halved and cooked on request. In crayfish season, boiled crayfish can be pre-ordered with an online form and collected at the hall. The entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible, and cards and mobile payments are accepted.
