This Helsinki archipelago getaway consists of four self-sufficient seaside units on the Baltic, each for one to three guests. The concept is by Finnish architect Pekka Littow: a demo house was shown in Paris for three months in 2019, and the first archipelago site opened in summer 2021. The wooden buildings draw on the minimalist archipelago tradition, and patented technology produces green energy and purifies water.
Stays run from April to November, with occasional winter openings announced on the booking page. Book through the website's calendar. You can get there from the city centre or the airport by car, bike, public transport or boat. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
