This café is on Suomenlinna in Helsinki, in a Russian merchants' block a short walk from the main ferry pier and opposite the church. The setting recalls an 1870s wooden house. The menu has cold and hot drinks, savoury food, pastries, cakes and a soup of the day, and the selection varies.
It is open all year round. Beer is also served, along with vegetarian and vegan options. There is outdoor seating, and dogs are allowed outside. Refreshments for Suomenlinna's rentable meeting and party rooms and the church crypt can be ordered, and custom cakes are made when possible. The premises are not wheelchair accessible. Cards and mobile payments are accepted.
