According to its website, the venue was founded in 1771. In the historical centre near the cathedral, it offers coworking spaces as well as meeting rooms and event venues for meetings, seminars, workshops and celebrations. The grand hall, designed by Lars Sonck, has high ceilings and historic character. There is a restaurant and café on site with a lunch menu, breakfast pastries and bread, and in the evening the restaurant and bar Marga serves dinner and drinks. Event packages include the venue, food and drinks, and staff to organise the event.
The premises are in the Torikorttelit block, with entrances from Aleksanterinkatu and Unioninkatu. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, as it is a licensed serving area. There is no own parking, but nearby car parks and the central railway station are within walking distance. The premises are wheelchair accessible except the Juhlakellari (party cellar).
