On the Merisatamanranta shore in Helsinki, this 2.27-hectare park is the first in the park strip when seen from the east. A Rotary club elm grove planted in 1978 stands beside a petanque court, and a former boat winter-storage area is now an open grass field for games and events. The old Satamarata railway is now a sand path leading to the shore, and a linden avenue runs along the shore.
The playground has sea-themed equipment, swings and slides, and there are areas for ball games, petanque and outdoor fitness. Seating squares among peonies and cherry trees suit picnics. The park has a toilet and cycle lanes, dogs are allowed, and the entrance and car park are accessible.
