This Helsinki bookshop in the Kirjatalo building belongs to a chain founded in 1893. The shelves hold fiction, paperbacks, children's books, comics, magazines, non-fiction, textbooks and hobby books. The paper department sells pens, office and craft supplies and art materials, and there are gifts too.
Author visits and talks take place at the Kohtaamispaikka meeting space in the building. A visit usually takes 20 minutes to an hour. Orders can be collected in store, gift cards are sold, and regular customers can join the friends' club. The entrance is step-free, and cards and mobile payments are accepted.
